About the teacher

MSc of microbiology and Immunology | Faculty of medicine, Mansoura university

Brief

I am a physician that has always been fascinated by the micro realm of bacteria, and accordingly, my passion extended toward exploring the mechanisms of our highly sophisticated human bodies to fight those microbes. This is why I did my MSc degree in Microbiology and Immunology as an attempt to understand these astonishing biological organisms and pathways. I enjoyed my MSc journey so much as my thesis focused on evaluating the role of PCT, CRP, and IL8 in detecting infection in febrile neutropenic pediatric patients. If I ever learned one thing from pondering our fine-tuned universe, it would be that there will always be more details to dig deeper into and learn. Thus, I am pursuing my Ph.D. in the Molecular Biology of Microbiology and immunology.
Meanwhile, I enjoy teaching a lot. This is because I would always try to instill the same passion in my students so they can enjoy science the same way I do. I have an academic teaching experience of seven years, from working as a teaching assistant (Demonstrator) until I became an assistant lecturer of Microbiology and Immunology after receiving my MSc degree. Hopefully, I will be able to impact the Microbiology and Immunology field advancement one day, and I would love to share this journey with my students and colleagues as much as possible!
